Members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas (HBA) continue to work through the budget information that it has received from the City of Dallas in order to understand how the Building Inspections Department is being funded and what resources are being allocated to other operations. A recent attempt by the city to adjust certain zoning fees (raising many) was tabled by the Economic Development Committee at the request of the HBA and other industry groups until more discovery about next year’s budget can be done.
